Stats:

In this universe, there are five major stats that players follow: Dexterity, Strength, Intelligence, Endurance, and Charisma.

Dexterity- Speed/agility/accuracy for ranged attacks.

Strength- physical prowess/ accuracy for melee attacks.

Endurance- will power/toughness/health

Intelligence- knowledge and wisdom

Charisma- How likeable a character is.


Contractor power:

After rolling ones base stats, players can now create their own contracting power. This will acquire a detailed description of the nature of the character's power, as well as an explanation of what penance the character must endure each time they use that power.

Example: Power: super strength --> Penance: Have someone punch them in the face after each power use


Please Note:

If a contractor character does not immediately perform their penance, they will lose 5 health per turn and are unable to use their power until their penance is completed.


Star:

Last but not least, a contractor character gets their very own star! The name of your star is up to you, but it must be done for all contractor characters.

Ten years ago, an inscrutable and abnormal territory known as Hell's Gate appeared in several areas of the world, including Japan, Brazil, Siberia, the United States, The Congo, and Antarctica. The presence of these areas altered the sky and wreaked havoc on the landscape. The real stars disappeared, replaced by false stars. During this time, people possessing various special abilities emerged, each capable of different supernatural feats - these are known as Contractors. Each fake star has a corresponding Contractor, which reacts to their activities.

Contractors are given incredible gifts to use as they may, but at a price... They must perform some sort of penance after they have used their gift for a certain amount of time.

In this time of peril, various nations and organizations around the world train and utilize Contractors as spies and assassins, resulting in violent battles for valuable objects and information. Following the disastrous Heaven's War, the United States lost its dominant position as a superpower to a mysterious organization named the Syndicate.

Still, serveral organizations continue to fight for control with the Syndicate. And several contractors still exist throughout the world.
