Superhero name: Metal Spyke
Secret Identity: Ezekiel Jones
Gender: Male
Origin: (Mutant/African American). Born in the town of Meredith, Pennsylvania. Ezekiel was a student at Meredith High School. He was just a normal kid until his mutant powers surfaced while protecting his friend Ziggy Adams from a psychotic peer seeking revenge on the school after being expelled. He was immediately persecuted by his friends, teachers, and practically everyone living in his town because of his powers. The incident at his high school found it’s way to national news and Ezekiel found himself another target of aggression towards mutant kind. Fearing for their son’s life, Mr. and Mrs. Jones sent the boy to live with relatives in New York City, where mutants were more tolerated. So, Ezekiel went forth to live with his Aunt Mary and Uncle Pete in the Big Apple. 4 years later, Ezekiel has successfully obtained a Bachelor of Science from Fordham University, and has established himself as a local pizza delivery boy, secretly using his powers to do some good in the city. Ezekiel has finally decided to go into the hero business part-time and do his part to clean up the crime ridden city as a costumed hero known as Metal Spyke.

Recently, this young hero has emerged from obscurity after being discovered by Dr. DoubleX and the mysterious organization known as the agency. After dealing with the Doctor, Ezekiel befriended a member of the agency known as agent Bedrock aka Ethos. Ezekiel was then asked back to meet with the head honcho of the Agency, a man simply referred to as Charlie. It was here that Ezekiel learns that a sample of his bone marrow had been used to save a deadly convict from certain death. It is believed that this convict, known only as Pericule, is now on the loose after being mutated by a scientific procedure. After meeting with Charlie, Ezekiel was accepted into the mysterious Agency as a field agent, and was asked to begin his training with Agent Bedrock.

Known powers: Armored Skin (12 ranks): Ezekiel’s skin can become metallic with a composition equal to that of the alloy Inconel 625. Even his eyes become this composition. This is a natural form of Body Armor. The Power rank number decreases the Intensity of any physical or energy attack. This decrease applies each turn for as long as the attack continues. Armor skin yields a +2 to fighting as well as bonuses to the hero’s strength and endurance. (+3 strength X the number of ranks in this power and +4 endurance X the number of ranks in this power). For every time using this form the energy cost is 10 energy points.

-Natural Weaponry (4 ranks + 3 ranks for origin): Ezekiel has the ability to produce dense spikes from his epidermis that can be removed and used as weapons. The spikes he protrudes are made of titanium making them strong but lightweight enough to throw. If these spikes are damaged on the skin the hero suffers as if they were normal body parts. The weaponry chosen possesses this Power and rank taken as material strength for purposes of determining potential damage. For every 1 rank in this power, the fighting ability of the hero is increase by +2.
A drawback to this Power is that if the hero is somehow deprived of his Natural Weaponry, he suffers a loss to his Fighting Ability equal to his weapon's rank. If the Natural Weaponry is made of materials not normally found in the body, it makes the hero vulnerable to attacks that affect those materials.

Talents: -Ambidextrous (5 ranks) A hero with this talent automatically is able to wield two weapons in both hands at the same time, with a +2 bonuses to fighting and agility stats. Meaning they are better prepared to strike with weapons in both arms. In addition, characters will begin two attacks upon having this skill and gain an additional attack every 5 ranks in this talent.

-Marksman (+10 to agility)(10 ranks) The character with this talent gains a +1 to their agility per each rank in this talent. An additional bonus of a +2 to their agility is allowed when the character is attempting to hit with any distance weapon that requires line of sight to hit (the character could benefit when firing heavy artillery, but not when controlling a guided missile).

-Brawling (10 ranks) +5 to their fighting stat when fighting using hand to hand combat. (+8 if the character possesses the Wrestling talent or the Martial Arts B talent. If both of these talents are possessed by the character then a +10 bonus will be taken to their fighting stat when fighting using hand to hand combat.) In addition, a +1 to their fighting will be added for every 6 ranks in this talent (these bonuses stack).

Weaknesses: Metal Spyke is highly susceptible to psychic and magical attacks, attributed by his low psyche. In addition, his mutant powers may be suppressed by Power Negation. Finally, while not in his armored form, Ezekiel still must face discrimination based upon the color of his skin as well.
