Origins Guide

In this universe, your hero's origins can be simplified down to any of the following types:

[size=150]Altered humans
Mutants
Hi-techs
Robots
Aliens/Mythical Beings[/size]

Each of these origins has their own unique perks (see detailed description below.)

[size=150]Altered humans:[/size]
Ex. Spiderman, The Flash, The Hulk, Beast Boy, Deathstroke

This category encompasses all those heroes who gained their powers by being physically altered by certain circumstances into becoming a superpowered individual.

Altered Humans have the following perks:

-Maximum of 4 Powers and 4 Talents.
- Initial Popularity: 20
-Initial Resources: $50
-Per level, they can raise any one of their Powers or Talents by 2 ranks.


[size=150]Mutants[/size]
Ex. Professor X, Wolverine, Cyclops, Magneto

-This category encompasses all those human beings who, be if fate, coincidence, or the next stage of human evolution, were born with their powers thanks to a genetic abnormality.

Mutants have the following perks:

-Maximum of 8 powers and 4 talents.
-Initial popularity: 0
-Initial Resources: $0
-Per Level, they can increase any one of their Powers or Talents by 4 ranks.


[size=150]Hi-techs[/size]
Ex. Batman, Ironman, Green Lantern, The Shade
-This category encompasses all those heroes who while at their core are normal humans utilize Inventions, Ancient Relics, or Special Devices to make them superhuman.

Hi-techs have the following perks:

-Maximum of 3 powers per each device, relic, or invention (Initial limit of 2 devices).
-Popularity: 100
-Resources: 150
-Max talents they can have is 8.


[size=150]Robots[/size]
Ex. Red Tornado, the Vision, Braniac, the Android
-Artificially created beings, either terran or otherwise that have technical abilities and sentient awareness that make them equal or surpassing normal humans.

Robots have the following perks:

-Total immunity from telepathic-based powers
-Maximum Powers of 4
-Maximum Talents of 6
-Popularity = 0
-Resources = $0


[size=150]Aliens/Mythical Beings[/size]
Ex. Aquaman, Raven, Starfire, Etrigan, Thor, Nova
-Any hero whose origin blankets any civilization, demension, or era that is not modern-day human based. From the Inhumans, Atlantians, Asgardians, Mystical realms, and of course other planets.

Aliens/Mythical Beings have the following perks:

-Max powers of 2
-Max talents of 3
-Popularity= 0
-Resources= $0
-These characters are the only ones who may start with 200 initial points to divide among their basic (FASERIP) stats.
