Rolling a character:

All players roll a total 4 stats: Str, Con, Dex, Skill.

Dex = speed/accuracy with ranged attacks

Str = physical strength/ accuracy with physical attacks

Con = will power/ health/ endurance

Skill = Magical power/Knowledge of using innocence/ wisdom of Akuma

All characters rolled can only be exorcists, but may develop a character background based on D. Grayman Lore.

Health: Health is equal to 2 x Con of a character.

Skill Points: Number of skill points is equal to the Skill stat.

Magic Points: Amount of energy used for Magical attacks with certain innocence is equal to Skill + Con.

Innocence Types:

After a player rolls his/her's character's stats, the player will then need to decide which form their innocence will take for fighting evil. Innocence has three forms: Equipment, Parasitic, and exterior body. An exorcist may only take one of the three forms and will not be able to change it after selecting. Below are the pros and cons for each type:

Equipment:

-This type comes with two special abilities right off the bat. And characters can gain an additional ability every 5 levels.

-This type only works with a specific object of significance to the exorcist.

Parasitic:

-This type is a deformity on the exorcists body and grants bonuses to the character's already rolled stats.

-This type comes with three special abilities right off the bat, and characters can gain an additional ability every 3 levels.

-This type also places a great deal of strain on the exorcist and after battle an exorcist must rest for three turns to replenish their strength.

Exterior Body:

-This type of Innocence requires another being to be possessed solely by the innocence.

-This type starts with one special ability off the bat, and characters gain an additional ability every 2 levels.

In the realm of D. Grayman, you play as a member of an organization of Exorcists, known as the Black Order.

Exorcists are adept at the use of an ancient substance called Innocence to combat the Millennium Earl and his demonic army of akuma (undead spirits).

Innocence can be found in three unique varieties:

1.) Equipment- This implies that the innocence is bonded with an object of significant value to the exorcist. Using these items, exorcists can then summon unique abilities to combat akuma, but will require their equipment in order to use these abilities.

2.) Parasitism- This implies that the innocence has bonded with the exorcist physically, often causing unique transformations to the individual’s body. With this type of innocence one can attack without use of an item. However the disadvantage with this type is that the user must continually replenish their energy or else become unconscious due to the incredible strain the parasitic Innocence places on them.

3.) Exterior body- This is the strangest version of Innocence. It implies that the innocence is found within the entire body of another organism. This type is extremely rare and the best example of this would be if one had a pet monkey that was imbued with innocence. The Exorcist could then activate the innocence in that monkey to transform it or attempt other strange abilities.

Finders- Beings who assists exorcists in Navigation, and retrieving innocence.

Bookmen- a person who records the hidden history of the world and has been trained from a young age to achieve that goal. Bookmen tend to distance themselves from caring about either side and simply record the events that occur.

The Noah Family- The Noah Family ( Noa no ichizoku) consists of thirteen human descendants of Noah, who was in fact thirteen separate individuals in this world, that are resurrected from generation to generation into a particular being. A Noah can be identified by a gray skin tone, yellow/gold eyes, and a horizontal line of seven cross-shaped stigmata referred to as holy marks. Like akuma, they resonate closely with the Dark Matter from which Akuma are born and made, and are adversely affected by Innocence-they do, however, possess the ability to destroy Innocence themselves. The Noah share an inborn drive to kill Exorcists, but otherwise possess unique will and mindsets. They each possess the characteristics of one of the thirteen original Noahs, with some even retaining his or her memories.Whenever their current body is destroyed, they are later reincarnated into another, as all humanity is descended from twelve of the thirteen Noah. Excluding the First Disciple, "Adam" or "The Millenium Earl/(Sen Nen Hakushaku)", they each possess a name alongside a trait they seem to represent. In numerical order beginning with the Second Disciple, they are "Toraido" or "Judgement/ (sai)", "Joido" or "Pleasure (kairaku)", "Dezaiasu" or "Desires/ (Yoku)", "Waizurii" or "Wisdom/ (Chi)", "Fiidora" or "Corrosion/ (Shoku)", "Mercym" or "Mercy/ (Shutsu)", "Raasura" or "Wrath/ (Ikari)", "Road" or "Dream/ (Yume)", "Bondomu" or "Bond/ (Kizuna)"(representing the Tenth and Eleventh as one), "Rasutoru" or "Lust/ (Iro)", and "Maitora" or "Talent/ (Nou)".
