Examples of Special Skills:

Data Hack: This skill is considered a double-edged sword. A program may use this skill to gain access through security setups, restricted areas, information from programs, and in some cases they can steal data points/stats from other programs. Also referred to "data-vampirism", the skill is based on a user having a d20 roll consistently higher than what they are trying to hack. Endurance/3 is the amount of times a program can hack a day.

Dual disc wielding: This skill allows a program to wield two discs for combat. Each disc deals half strength in damage. A program with this skill can strike twice per turn and can maintain two different identities.

Data Collector: This skill allows a program two gather data points at an excelled rate. A program with this skill gains 2x as much data points for each task.

Data Corruption: This skill allows a program to infect or corrupt another program or construct. This can range anywhere from stat debuffs, data point displacement, and reduction in weapons fortitude and executables.

Data Flux: This skill involves a program sacrificing data points as a destructive lightning-like force. 1 dp is equivalent to 5 health. Cannot be used without data points.

Surge Protector: Raw data points can be used to stave off direct and/or mortally-wounding damage, based on DM judgement. A powerful skill, but one not to be used lightly

LifeSave: By sacrificing data points (X points per level) a program/user is able to give a digital preservation of all data making up an individual to another program/user. All users and programs can carry one LifeSave at a time, and when activated reverts that person back to their previous state, minus the memories, skills, and data points gained/lost since the LifeSave was created.

Data Harvest: A user/program can tap into the multitudes of streaming data and information to extract raw data from the computer multiverse. This raw data is then converted into 1 D6 data points for that person. There is a risk that the data points can be corrupted however per DM judgement, so be warned; the effects can be...dangerous.

Data Encryption: A user/program can add layers of encryption to their own personal data as a means of added security against hacking/corruption. For X number of data points, players can add security layers to their own identity disks, with higher level encryption requiring more points.

Overclocking: A user/program can temporarily multiply their base stats/skills by D20, giving an incredible surge of power and strength. However the longer the overclocking is in effect, the more at risk for data corruption and damage the player becomes.

Expansion Card Slot (H): This skill creates an expansion slot that allows the user/program to make use of a diversified set of expansion cards, hardware devices that provide temporary abilities and skill variations. Low risk of data corruption when using this skill.

Hyperlinking: A player/user, once given a set of intranet-coordinates, can create a connection to another location/place within the Tron multiverse with his/her identity disk. The user who creates the Hyperlink is vulnerable to attack; no software skills can be activated until the hyperlink is completed.

Cache Retrieval: (to be updated later)

Compression: This skill allows a user/player to compress his or her skill and item data, creating 10 times the personal storage for such items.

Identity Skins:

In the grid, classes are virtually non-existent, but all programs are identified by their functionality based on their skin. View the pic below:

Each program has a unique color associated with their functionality. In addition, those colors also provide bonuses to the programs stats. See the descriptions below:

Red: +5 Endurance

Orange: +5 Endurance

Yellow: +5 Precision

Green: +5 Precision

Blue/Indigo: +5 Strength

Black: +5 Strength

Violet: +5 Knowledge

White: +5 Knowledge

All bonuses are included. Wielders of two discs can switch between bonuses of two different skins, yet they cannot retain both bonuses at once.

Data Point (dp) Purchasing:

Stat Increases:

10 dp = +1 Strength

10 dp = +1 Precision

5 dp = +1 Endurance

20 dp = +1 Knowledge

Weapons/Items:

Although most weapons and items will be up to the Users to determine their worth, the following objects maintain a constant value:

1.) New identity disc: In case a player wants to pick a new character, it costs them 200 data points for a new identity all stats and special skills may be saved.

2.) Light cycle: (150 data points) A vehicle that is conveniently stored in a rod like device. Upon operating a light cycle, programs can also use the vehicle to place down a physical light barrier. Can be used on the game grid and beyond.

3.) Solar Sail Ship: (1000000 data points) A ship that can transport programs across all regions of the grid.

In This World...

The MCP has long been defeated by Tron, a program who fights for the users. Users being those beings which created the world known as the grid.

Now, new enemies have been created and with them chaos and violence as well. Programs find themselves in a dark, gritty world of gambling, gang warfare and the deadly games played on the game grid.

Rules:

1.) In this universe, there are only 4 main stats that characters have: Strength (used for attack power and physical feats), Precision (used for accuracy and feats of dexterity/charisma), Endurance (used for health and defense/resistance), and Knowledge (feats of intelligence and skill points).

2.) There are no skills to be learned in this universe, with the except of one unique special ability that all players must develop for their character specifically. These skills are permanent, unless a player finds a disc relay, where they can upgrade themselves and exchange skills.

3.) There is no experience to be earned in the traditional sense. Rather, characters earn data points which they can use to purchase upgrades, weapons, and other items. Characters may earn these data points by completing tasks, defeating other lifeforms, or any other means that the Users (DM) see fit. (see attached data purchasing section for details).

4.) All characters start off with one unique special ability that is pre-approved by the Users. In addition, all characters star off with 1000 data points that they must use to construct their characters stats. All characters are provided with one data disc.
