Tower of Heaven: (Party 2)

Having failed to reach level 3 on their first run, the rejects of the tower were given a second chance at redemption by the void guardsmen Abdul, a eye-patch wearing greedy humanoid that served the administrators. He presented the challenged and ordered the rejects to form parties of two.
Three strangers... A demon, an Illurian (frost maker), and a fox-prince became acquainted with one another and formed an alliance. Through the clever use of his Kiatsu abilities, Vadur the fox prince created a series of small explosions that incapacitated a great many rival parties. Illyana used her ice powers to gain some distance on the competition, while the demon used his astral projection abilities to possess an unconscious yordle and terrorize the remaining parties. Initially, a flamerunner looked as if they would escape first but through some clever deception, the demon managed to greatly wound the being and enable the trio a greater advantage.
But soon they encountered a great one-armed stone golem that attempted to fight them. Using his expansion ability, the demon managed to distract the creature while Illyana and Vadur took out his allies. Soon all three managed to steal a kiatsu powered sailing device which propelled to the gates. However, they were soon halted by Abdul, who revealed he never had any intention of letting any of them pass. By charging the kiatsu in the board they launched the sailing device at Abdul killing him instantly. Only the golem's team and the trio made it through the portals before they closed. Yet, unsatisfied with letting the golem live, Vadur charged his body with kiatsu caused the other group to die in a horrible explosion.
Realizing they needed to stock up on items for the next task (which was set to start in three days time) the group traveled to Vadur's family estate and proceeded to load up on knowledge, water, provisions, weapons, and shards (for Illyana's Crystalize form). Each member of the triad also downloaded the estate's personal after thought Gideon to each of their own after thoughts so as to maintain a connection with the knowledgeable and helpful AI. Where last we left off, the group was debating on what to do before three days time and Illyana and the demon made their way to Fox=prince's Family Vault.
Side note- is Fayah Vadur's mother?
